Several months ago, we organized lots of snow gear for the kids to have some good times in the snow this winter. (Looking back, I'm glad most of the gear came from our wonderful friends with older kids or 'Kid-to-Kid') Then came the snow and, with it, the inversion - ugh. Might as well pack my kids off with a pack of Marlboros each as have them out breathing that air. So, we hibernated. We colored and read stories and watched movies and hung out indoors. Gratefully, Presidents Day arrived with about 4 inches of good, wet, packable snow - and a day off for BB to boot. So, we took advantage of the beautiful, clear-aired day and took the kids sledding, did snow angels, built a snow family, and also the largest snowball we could roll. Had to get it all in - just in case!

One thing we couldn't figure out was how to keep Diggity from eating snow mama's nose...
